A quiet location but within a few mins walking to Cernobio centre and lakeside.Bank and numerous restaurents nearby and an arrangement at a nearby coffee shop for a discounted coffee and croissant! Secure but independant of usual Hotel activities. Perfect for my needs.

Coordinating arrival and key hand over was dissrupted by erratic sunday schedule bus and train services required to connect Cernobio with Miklan Malpensa. Telephone and txt communications assisted with final rendevouz with the owner/keyholder.Payment by credit card went according to plan.

The central location and affable staff were the highlight of this very nice stay. I booked a double room, it was absolutely perfect and had a work desk, coffee/tea making equipment, and satellite TV.

The place was peaceful while being convenient, and the staff were friendly.

This accommodation is fairly basic but the room was spacious with cooking and eating facilities and a comfortable bed, the bathroom was adequate with a good washing machine and drying rack which we made use of. We had been travelling a while and it was great to be in an apartment instead of a hotel for a couple of days. It was in a nice garden setting and parking was no problem at all. We enjoyed the restaurant which was attached to the hotel next door set in the same garden and was reached by a short path through the garden. It is a modest establishment but perfectly adequate.

It needed some outdoor facilities (a few chairs or sunloungers in the garden would be a good idea) as the rooms have no outdoor space (balconies). There would be plenty of room to do this in the very pleasant garden setting (as they have done in the hotel next door).

The Cernobbio Residence is in Cernobbio, very near Como, and a short walk from the boat dock on the lake. It is quiet and comfortable, and the great feature is that there is a well-equipped kitchen in which you can prepare your own meals.

The person who manages the residence does not work there during most of the day, so you are mainly on your own. However, he does come in from Como if you need him.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lovely 1 night stay at this hotel. the location was pleasant for walking around Giardino Della Valle Garden. - I didn't want to say goodbye and would definitely return here.

Very friendly owner who was ready to make sure our stay worked well. Was good having a kitchen since we have little children. This allowed us to cater to our own needs.

It was great to have parking and it was easy area to get around. It was park like grounds in front so gave a nice feel. Easy walk about 5 minutes to the lake, shops etc. took us about 1 hr to walk into Como which was a nice walk and we catch the Ferry back.

We didn't like the small sofa type bed that was the main bed. We didn't like the air con just above the bed blowing on you and the green light was annoying when trying to sleep. We tried leaving window open but there is a restaurant next door and the drive is all loose metal so to noisy? The apartments are older style and a bit tired and very bland but they were clean and most things there except no sharp knives and the chopping board should be replaced but luckily we had both of these.

Location is very good center of Cernobbio. Free parking and good high speed internet. Owner and his wife are very friendly people who tried their best to cater for us given that we were expecting maid service.

Although not mentioned anywhere on Booked.net, this place is not really a hotel. Be warned, there is no maid service. There is no change of towels or sheets etc. There is one roll of toilet tissue only no matter how long your stay. ......... The place could definitely have been cleaner with most of the kitchenware dirty (could be because there is no washing liquid or sponge supplied).....The decor is dated, with a large picture of the New York twin towers right above the bed! ......There are 3 units on each floor, and if you get one of the middle ones then there is no real airflow into the bathroom except for a small ventilation fan...... Worst thing of all is the bed, which is a sofa bed not an actual bed. And even as a sofa bed it is very uncomfortable for 2 people. Any slight movement and the whole mattress moves.....Finally be careful of some of the wardrobes. They are not properly fastened into the wall. While opening one of them my girlfriend discovered this because it fell forward toward her. Could be dangerous if you have kids so just be a bit careful.

The facilities at this hotel are beautiful. The location is excellent, it is near a ferry port. When I am in Cernobbio, I like staying here.

Nice clean apartment in the centre of Cernobbio. Value for money....
